The present Ministerial Decree validates the statute of the Ministry of Environmental Protection and establishes its competence. The main tasks of the Ministry shall be: (a) state supervision over environmental protection, observance of environmental legislation and compliance with ecological requirements; (b) state environmental control system development; (c) optimization of environmental protection; (d) international cooperation; (e) dissemination of environmental information and education.
