This Ministerial Decree establishes quality and safety requirements for raw alimentary materials and foodstuffs and regulates relations originating between manufacturers, vendors and purchasers in the processing, sale, import, storage, transportation and trade of foodstuffs. It requires foodstuffs to comply with sanitary, veterinary and phytosanitary standards and technical requirements.
