Ministerial Decree No. 195 on state control over the use and protection of water bodies.

The main purpose of carrying out state control is to enforce enterprises, organizations, real and legal persons to obey the rules of the use and protection of water bodies, limits of water use, environmental, hydrological and technological standards, sanitary requirements and the regime of water conservation zone. The state control shall be carried out by the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the Azerbaijan Amelioration and Water Management Open
