This Ministerial Decree stipulates that the Committee on Geology and Subsoil Protection shall be state institution responsible for the exploration, protection and management of subsoil. The Committee shall: (a) elaborate and implement state policy on the rational management and protection of subsoil; (b) regulate the exploration, protection and management of subsoil; and (c) supervise subsoil management. It shall be responsible for: (a) validation of the list of mineral deposits; (b) concessions
