In implementation of Legislative Decree No. 351 of 1999, this Regulation establishes: (a) technical directives to be followed by the Regions when proceeding to the preliminary assessment of ambient air quality and the delimitation of the zones where the limit values are or might be exceeded; (b) criteria for the adoption of plans and programmes aimed at ensuring that the limit values are not exceeded; (c) directives to be taken into account by the Regions for the adoption of the plan on maintena
