This Ministerial Decree designates the Federal Agency on Subsoil Management as the federal executive body in the sphere of subsoil management. The Agency shall have the plenary powers in the following fields: (a) exploration of subsoil; (b) assessment and classification of mineral deposits; (c) dissemination of information on subsoil; and (d) licensing of subsoil management. The Agency shall keep the state cadastre of mineral deposits and minerals.
