This Ministerial Decree establishes that the state environmental audit is a kind of environmental expertise carried out by specialized agencies of the State Committee on Environmental Protection with the purpose of: (a) compliance of the projected economic activity with ecological requirements; (b) level of environmental risks and possible negative environmental impact; (c) adequacy and sufficiency of the envisaged arrangements for environmental protection and rational use of natural resources.
