This Ministerial Decree authorizes the Ministry of Interior to carry out operational and investigative work related to illegal logging, damaging and destruction of forests and arson. The Ministry of Interior, jointly with the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, shall undertake the necessary arrangements for the prevention of forest fires and illegal logging. The Agency for Emergency Situations shall strengthen fire safety inspections of inhabited areas adjoining forests.
