This Decree is composed of 7 articles Article 1 puts forward the establishment of an office known as the “Plant Variety Protection Office” replacing the breeders’ Right and Plant Variety Protection Department within the Central Administration for Seed Certification at the Agricultural Services and Follow Up Sector at the Ministry of Agriculture pursuant to the Prime Ministerial Decree no.(492) of 2003.
