This Decree provides for the registration of crop varieties. It promulgates the protocol (the manual) which sets the foundations and rules when selecting the crop varieties depending on its industrial, economic, and agricultural value. This Protocol sets forth the process of registration of the crop varieties in the Agricultural Research Center and the prerequisites for the seeds to enter the accreditation system and be used for trading purposes.
