This Ministerial Decree implements the Vienna Convention for the Protection of the Ozone Layer (1985) and the Montreal Protocol on Substances that Deplete the Ozone Layer (1987). This Ministerial Decree establishes to prohibit from 1 July 2000 import to Uzbekistan of cooling equipment and air-conditioning units containing ozone depleting substances from countries that are signatories of Vienna Convention and Montreal Protocol in accordance with the Annex 2.
