Ministerial Decree No. 911 validating the Regulation on import and trade of grains and derivates thereof.

The Premier establishes that beginning from 1 July 2008 VAT shall not be applicable to import and trade of the following grains and cereals, and derivates thereof: (a) wheat and meslin; (b) rye; (c) barley; (d) maize; (e) wheat flour; and (f) rye flour. Quality indices of imported grains, cereals and derivates thereof shall comply with quality requirements set by the national legislation. Quality control shall be carried out by accredited laboratories and shall be confirmed by quality certificat
