This Ministerial Decree establishes to transfer to the Katon-Karagay national park 515 538 hectares of land pertaining to Berel and Katon-Karagay state forestry and wildlife management institutions, and to allot thereto 127 939 hectares of reserve land. These areas shall be classified as protected territory and forested areas of state national parks. Any activity that may have a negative impact on protected species shall be prohibited within the boundaries of the Katon-Karagay national park.
