This Decree consisting of 3 articles grants permanent protection to plant species (some kinds of rice, grapes and avocado). The protection of the aforementioned species shall enter into force on the date of the issuance of the Protection Certificate and shall expire in accordance with article 193 of Law No.82 of 2002 (25 years for the vines and 20 years for other types of plants).
