The Ministerial Decree aims at the eradication of the African swine pest in the Sardinia Region and the prevention from its spreading on the national territory. Consigments of live swine animals and swine fresh meat originating in Sardinia are prohibited by this Decree. Nevertheless, consigments of swine fresh meat are permitted when swines have been slaughtered in establishments which are exclusively devoted to swine slaughtering and have been granted the sanitary authorization by the Ministry
