This Decree implements Council Directive 97/41/EC and Commission Directive 1999/65/EC establishing maximum levels for pesticide residues in and on foodstuffs of animal or plant origin. The competent authority for regulating all matters related thereto shall be the Department for the Protection of Plant Production (Ministry of Agriculture).
