Aim of the present Decree is the transposition into the national legislation and implementation of Commission Directive 99/50/EC and consequently, the establishment of compositional requirements for infant formulae and follow-on formulae as regards pesticide residues. The Decree No. Y3D/1510/93 is therefore amended according to the provisions of Directive 99/50/EC. Trade in products which do not comply with this Decree, shall be prohibited, with effect from 30 June 2002.
