Ministerial Resolution No. 602 of 2000 concerning the quarantine measures for the imported castrated livestock for the immediate slaughtering.

This Resolution is composed of 4 articles. Importation of non-castrated calfs, goats and sheeps for slaughtering is prohibited (art. 1). The following quarantine measures shall be carried out for the imported castrated calfs, sheeps and goats: control and verification that all animals are castrated and marked with the objective to distinguish them from the local animals (art. 2). All quarantine centres must respect and apply these measures (art. 3).
