These Regulations, made by the Minister responsible for the National Environment Act under section 107 of the National Environment Act, provide for a systematic, periodic and objective evaluation carried out to determine: how well a facility is performing in conserving the environment and its resources; the facility' s compliance status with environmental regulatory requirements and the environmental management system; the overall environmental risk of the facility.
