This Act establishes the National Environmental Standards and Regulations Enforcement Agency as a body corporate and provides rules relative to the protection of the environment in Nigeria. The Agency shall be responsible for the effective enforcement of standards, Regulations and all national agreements and international agreements on environment to which Nigeria is a signatory.
