These Regulations, made under section 80 of the National Ports Act, 2005, provide rules for the administration, organization and functioning of ports. Especially the Regulations concern participation in policy and decision-making by socially and economically disadvantaged groups. They also set out rules of procedure for Port Consultative Committees.
