These Regulations prohibit in respect of ancient or national monuments the carrying out of activities by persons, other than persons duly authorized by the Commission. Such activities include, inter alia, destroying, damaging, injuring, defacing or removing of any tree, shrub or other vegetation and setting fires to any grass or undergrowth of trees or fires in any place where they are likely to spread or cause damage to any monument or relic.
