The Act institutes the National Nursery Committee whose functions and tasks are the supervision of the national policy and all operations dealing with the setting up of plant nurseries, plant production, plant registration and plant quality. Nurseries must be registered and licensed in order to start their activities. License covers the period of one year and is renewable and the production of approved plants, authorized by the Nursery Inspector to be sold or traded.
