This Order approves the Regulation on financial assistance for fishing vessel immobilization or scrapping (Programme MARE). The aim of the aforementioned Regulation (divided in 13 articles and 2 annexes) is to issue incentives for the retirement of fishing vessels for the aforementioned reasons, in compliance with the MARE - Programme for the Sustainable Development of Fishing Sector. It establishes the requirements to be satisfied by fishing vessels in order to obtain such incentives.
