The Minister stipulates that, as from 2007, an annual ban shall be imposed on fishing for: (a) aquatic biological diversity (except for eel, perch, roach and sabrefish over 3.5 km from the shoreline) from 20 April to 31 August by all fishing gear; from 20 April to 15 September using large and small nets; and (b) perch and roach using fyke nets and trap nets from 15 May to 31 August, for sabrefish and roach using small nets from 20 June to 15 September, and for sabrefish and roach using small gan
