This Order establishes that protected areas and national parks shall be scientific and research institutions carrying out fundamental and applied research, complex ecological monitoring, inventory of natural, historical and cultural complexes and creation of geoinformation systems and related databases. Priority directions of scientific and research activity shall include: (a) annotated listing of vascular plants, vertebrate and invertebrate animals at least once in 10 years; (b) data collection
