The Order aims to ensure appropriate fishing methods for Arctic char (Salvelinus alpinus). Fishing for this trout species may only take place with hooks for fishing, rackets and mesh nets by stretched measurement of 10 meters. The municipal council shall draw up every 5 years a list of potentially good trout streams considered most threatened by excessive fishing.
