This Order sets sanitary requirements for forest management with a view of conservation of forest species, prevention of damage caused to forests by pests and diseases and of more efficient use of timber and non-timber resources. The following sanitary and hygienic forest arrangements must be carried out regularly: (a) selection sanitary felling; (b) final sanitary felling; (c) land clearing; (d) felling of extraneous forest species, shrubbery and vegetation causing propagation of forest disease
