The Order, through the Fisheries Directorate - sets rules on oyster fishing and transport thereof in the Limfjord waters by monitoring regulations in regards to licences, fishing areas, sampling and vessel dimension requirement for these activities. Fishing and landing of oysters is prohibited in the Limfjord from 15 May to 31 August. Regulations on oyster size: if they weigh less than 60 grams, they may NOT be kept onboard, landed, stored, transported and sold but must immediatelly be discarded
