This Order states that, in pursuance of clause 20 of the Fertiliser (Control) Order, 1985, the Central Government hereby fixes the specifications of Calcium Cyanamide to be imported into India for a period of one year from the date of publication of this notification in the Official Gazette, for the purpose of sale of the same in India, for use of agriculture. It also specifies standards, terms and conditions in order to import the above mentioned fertiliser.
