Ordinance amending the Fresh Meat Hygiene Ordinance.

The present Ordinance by the Ministry for Social Security and Future Generations introduces some substantial amendments to the Fresh Meat Hygiene Ordinance (BGBl. No. 396/1994). All amendments introduce preventive measures for slaughtering and meat examination due to recent outbreak of the BSE or so called "mad cow disease".
