The present Ordinance implements the Federal Environment Protection Act of 7 October 1983 and the Environment Protection Law of the Canton Basel-Landschaft of 27 February 1991. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to fees for enforcement of federal and cantonal noise pollution legislation.
