The present Ordinance implements the Hunting Law of Hessen of 12 October 1994. In particular, the Ordinance lays down provisions relating to hunting gear and hunting methods under article 19 of the afore-mentioned Law according to which animals to be slaughtered must suffer as little as possible. The text consists of 4 articles.
