This Ordinance prohibits, without a permit of the Minister, the establishment, transfer or enlargement of installations that cause nuisance, e.g. smoke, excessive noise, odours, etc. A State Decree may indicate areas where such installations may be established without a permit. The Ordinance sets out procedures and requirements for application and sets out criteria for decision-making regarding applications. The Minister may attach conditions to the grant of a permit.
