This Ordinance provides rules relative to: the establishment of slaughterhouses; inspection of livestock for slaughter and meat; control on importation of livestock for health purposes; slaughter of animals; importation of meat; inspection of meat for sale; and enforcement measures. It also defines offences and prescribes penalties for such offences.
