These by-laws have been enacted in order to protect parks falling within the Federal Territory of Putrajaya. Parks include , among others, lakes, streams, rivers, river banks. Paragraph 3 defines the acts that shall be punished as offences and to which the penalty laid down in paragraph 10 shall be applied. In particular, no person shall catch or kill any animal or bird in a park (paragraph 5).
