The Act imposes duties on holders of pigs and allows owners of land and police force to take actions against straying pigs. The owner of a pig must ensure that the pig is kept in an enclosure or tethered in such a way that it cannot wander at large. The owner of pig shall also ensure that the pig has sufficient food and water. If the owner of land finds a pig at large on that land and requests the owner of the pig to remove it, the owner of the pig must comply with that request as soon as reason
