These Regulations defined powers of inspectors appointed under section 18 of the Pig Industry Act in respect of the inspection of premises, i.e. any slaughter-house or bacon factory, any premises where pig carcasses or pig products are sold or any boarding-house, hospital, hotel, restaurant or school hostel and in respect of the request of the production of documents such as licences, books or registers on the slaughter or sale of pigs.
