This Act provides rules for pilotage in Jamaican waters and requires pilotage to be carried out in certain circumstances. It also defines functions of the Port Authority under this Act, in addition to the functions of the Authority under the Port Authority Act. The Authority shall, among other things, maintain a register of pilots licensed under this Act.
