These Regulations implement provisions of the Namibian Ports Authority Act with respect to, among other things, authorization and control of activities in port areas, port procedures for vessels, licensing of small and pleasure crafts (also small boats used for fishing), environmental protection and safety, and port operations. Port activities as specified require a licence of the Namibian Ports Authority (Namport). No person shall fish within a port, except with a written permission of Namport.
