Power Craft Prohibition (Designated Rivers) Act, 2001 (No. 10 of 2001).

This Act designates rivers on which the use of power crafts is prohibited or limited. Use of a power craft designated by the Minister responsible for agriculture requires the permission of the Minister. The Minister may designate rivers as safe haven if he or she is satisfied that damage to that river or the environment in general can be prevented.
