This Presidential Decree contains the definition of Mediterranean scrub and rupestrian formation with a view to determining the application scope of Regional Act No. 16 of 16 April 1996. A plant formation cannot be defined as Mediterranean scrub unless it comprises at least five species of those listed out in article 1.
