The Decree ratifies provisions intended for the improvement of the organization, functions and tasks of the Agency for Controlling Environmental Impacts, called Bapedal. Article 9 provides for the institution of the Deputy 1 responsible for the coordination of human and institutional resources; Art.12 institutes the Deputy II in charge of the Control of Environmental Pollution, to assess water and air pollution and manage waste disposal and hazardous substances; Art.15 provides for the appointme
