This Decree ratifies the Protocol on the Privileges and Immunities of the International Seabed Authority, signed in Kinston on August 1998 and previously approved by the Portuguese Parliament with Resolution No. 60/2006 of 4 October 2006. The attached Protocol, composed of 22 articles, regulates the legal personality of the Authority as well as its privileges and immunities.
