Presidential Decree No. 1/2000 instituting eight Ministries and extinguishing others.

This Decree, composed of six articles, institutes eight Ministries, among which the Ministry for Agriculture and Rural Development and the Ministry for Fisheries. Moreover, it extinguishes five former Ministries and defines the succession regime of financial, human and material resources to the newly established Ministries.
