Presidential Decree No. 1472 on designation of the scientific authorities according to the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.

This Decree states that the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources shall be designated as a scientific authority for sturgeon fish species and the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences shall be designated as a scientific authority for other endangered species of wild fauna and flora in accordance with the Article IX of the Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora.
