Presidential Decree No. 2244 on measures for the protection of the Caspian Sea from pollution.

This Decree aims at improving the marine environment of the Caspian Sea by preventing discharge of industrial and domestic waste water into the Caspian Sea. This Decree states that 12 modular water treatment facilities shall be installed in Bilgah-Shuvalan zone in Baku and in the coastal region of Pirallahi Island.
