This Ordinance specifies acts and omissions in respect of animals which amount to cruelty and prescribes penalties for such acts and omissions considered to be offences. Provisions of the Ordinance also include powers of arrest, destruction of animals, inspection. The Ordinance grants regulation making powers to the Chief Executive in Council.
