These Regulations implement provisions of the Prevention of Pollution of the Sea Act 1979 with respect to marine pollutants, oil record books, certificates of insurance and tanker construction certificates. For purposes of section 1 of the Act, “marine pollutants” are prescribed in Schedule 2 to these Regulations.
