The Law, consisting of 45 articles and 1 Annex, aims at promoting and encouraging the use of energy from renewable sources. This Law establishes a common framework for the promotion of energy from renewable sources with the following objectives: (a) sets mandatory national targets for the overall share of energy from renewable sources in gross final energy consumption of the Republic and the share of energy from renewable sources in transport; (b) lays down rules relating to statistical transfer
